TREE PLANTING EXERCISE

The Principal CAVS, Prof. R. Nyikal, Director WMI, Prof. D. Mungai, Dean of Students/Director Career Services, Mr. Johnson Kinyua, Mr. John M. Mwangi, CEO, Workmate Green Solutions and Mr. Simon Nderitu, Sequence Entertainment, University of Nairobi. The team met at the Wangari Maathai Institute to plan for the tree planting exercise to be held on 20th  November, 2020 at the Wangari Mathai Institute and at the Vet Farm in Kanyariri. The exercise will involve staff and students from the University of Nairobi and Loresho Primary School.

REFUGEE STUDENTS TO BENEFIT FROM UON, UNHCR AND WIK PARTNERSHIP

University of Nairobi refugee students are set to benefit from the DAFI Scholarship Program as a result of the partnership between the institution, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and Windle International Kenya (WIK).

FRESHERS REPORT FOR ON-CAMPUS LEARNING

First year students 2020/21/22 Academic Year have finally reported to campus for face to face learning.

The students who have practical lessons were admitted to the Colleges of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences, Architecture and Engineering, Biological and Physical Sciences, Health Sciences and all students pursuing sciences in the College of Education and External Studies.

UNIVERSITY OF NAIROBI COUNCIL VISIT TO FACULTY

The University of Nairobi Council on Monday 16, 2024 visited the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine to gain an in-depth understanding of its academic processes, research initiatives, and supporting infrastructure.

The Council was received by the Dean and Faculty management committee members, where the Dean introduced them to the council.

During the visit, they explored the faculty’s academic programs, and overall quality assurance mechanisms.

UoN 2024 ANNUAL CAREER /JOB FAIR & EXPO

The Office of Career Services in partnership with the Confucius Institute at the University of Nairobi (CIUON) have partnered to host the 2024 UoN Career/Job Fair and Expo from on 22nd to 24th May, 2024, 9:00am to 4pm. The venue for the Fair is the Hyslop Parking & Taifa Hall, University of Nairobi Main Campus. The opening ceremony will be held at 9:30am on Wednesday May 22, 2024 at Taifa Hall, and different companies’ booths will be at the Hyslop Parking.
