FRESHERS REPORT FOR ON-CAMPUS LEARNING

First year students 2020/21/22 Academic Year have finally reported to campus for face to face learning.

The students who have practical lessons were admitted to the Colleges of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences, Architecture and Engineering, Biological and Physical Sciences, Health Sciences and all students pursuing sciences in the College of Education and External Studies.

The resumption is a decision by the UoN Senate and is meant to help the students whose programs require practical learning in the laboratory to report back to campus. The rest of the students will continue with online learning until further notice.

The Vice-chancellor, Prof. Stephen Kiama called on the students and members of staff to remain vigilant and that the safe resumption of on-campus learning requires conformity to the Ministry of Health's COVID-19 protocols and guidelines.

The students were registered using the biometric system. The system electronically captures the student’s signature, photo and finger prints as well as scanning of national identification card, passport or birth certificate. All these are captured for easy identification of students.
