COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH VISIT AT THE UNIVERSITY OF GLASGOW

The research visit at the University of Glasgow, Scotland UK, facilitated by the Everyday Clean project under the One Health Initiative. The project is collaborative research between University of Glasgow, International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) and University of Nairobi that aims to explore hygiene practices in semi urban population of Kware community in Kajiado, County Kenya.

UON RECEIVES THE BEST ICT ACADEMY AWARD 2022

On Friday February 24, 2023 at the Serena Hotel, the University of Nairobi (UoN) was awarded  ‘The Best ICT Academy 2022’ during the Huawei ICT Competition 2022-2023 Award Ceremony, since the signing of a Collaborative Agreement in 2018. This is the second time UoN has been recognized.

ICT staff members, George Ndegwa and Ruth Wambua were also recognized and awarded as the best instructors 2022.

UNIVERSITY HEALTH SERVICES UNVEILS ITS INTEGRATED DIGITAL HEALTH PLATFORM (IDH)

The launch of the UHS integrated Digital Health platform supported by the Ministry of Health (MOH) marks a great milestone for the University in line with a long-term road map for digitizing its  functions  and processes. The launch event presided over by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Kiama was preceded by an interactive demo outlining a step by step patient process journey.

UON HOSTS THE 7TH GLOBAL RESEARCH NETWORK

On February 7, 2023, The University of Nairobi (UoN) hosted the opening ceremony of 7th Global Research Network – Belt and Roads Initiative (BRI) hybrid Conference 2023, at the UoN Towers Main Campus. The University of Nairobi is the 1st institution in the African continent to host the BRI Conference.
