The office of the DVC RIE brings to your attention a planned virtual symposium on Enhancing Knowledge Transfer and Exchange in African HE and Research hosted jointly by the University of Glasgow and the African Research Universities Alliance (ARUA).

The symposium programme will comprise of keynote lectures from European and African Industry and Higher Education representatives as well as interactive breakout rooms aligned to the themes of ARUA’s 13 Centres of Excellence.

 A year on from the successful ‘Capacity Strengthening in Africa’ symposium in 2020, this event is an opportunity to explore the developments of the last year and to discuss how we build on the links between higher education and industry, which is pivotal for economic and societal development.
