The University of Nairobi was ranked top in the Country after it scored excellent in its core mandate of teaching and learning among other State Corporations in Kenya.
This was announced through a report by the Public Service Performance Management Unit (PPMU) for the Financial Year 2020/2021.
Among the first 10 corporations in the Country, the University led with a score of 0.8 while the National Irrigation Authority came 2nd with an aggregate of 0.84.
In the Functional category, the University ranked number 3 with an aggregate of 2.1 while University of Embu and Tharaka Nithi University College ranked number 1 and 2 respectively.
Nationally, UoN was ranked number 4 . The Indicators that were weighed were Core Mandate and Functional Category.
