The department of Vet. Pathology. Microbiology and Parasitology was yesterday among the first departments to launch and successfully administer online examinations.
The first examination was JPM 256: Veterinary Helminthology.
The students and the staff/invigilators first met in Google Meet platform for introduction and instructions.
The students then logged in to Eclass for the examination without exiting the google meet platform.
The migration was successful and with the guidance of the invigilators, Dean Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and ICT Staff, the students were able to log in and start the three-hour examination.
Through google meet chat, the invigilators and students-maintained contact.
This assisted in helping the student who had challenges and also monitoring the behavior of individual students.
The examination was successful and the lessons learned will used to improve the upcoming examinations
