COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH VISIT AT THE UNIVERSITY OF GLASGOW

The research visit at the University of Glasgow, Scotland UK, facilitated by the Everyday Clean project under the One Health Initiative. The project is collaborative research between University of Glasgow, International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) and University of Nairobi that aims to explore hygiene practices in semi urban population of Kware community in Kajiado, County Kenya. The project employs a multidisciplinary approach that involves microbiologists, epidemiologists, and social scientists under One Health context. Further on, it also seeks to raise awareness about the link between cleanliness and health and to encourage behavior change among target populations.
