FLEMMING FUND TEAM VISIT TO DEPARTMENT

Representatives of Flemming fund, including members of Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Irrigation, visited the refurbished microbiology laboratory of VPMP department, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Kabete, on 6th October 2020, to assess progress towards readiness for start of Antimicrobial resistance surveillance exercise. The visit was part of activities for the AMR poultry surveillance protocol dissemination workshop – Nairobi circuit which was held on 5-6th October 2020 at Limuru. Objective of the workshop was to map-out the surveillance exercise, funded by Flemming fund.
