UNIVERSITY OF HELSINKI TEAM FACULTY VISIT

A team from the University of Helsinki visited the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Nairobi on December 5, 2024. The delegation was led by Annamari Heikinheimo, Associate Professor of Zoonotic Antimicrobial Resistance at the University of Helsinki, Research Professor at the Finnish Food Authority, and Vice-Director of Helsinki One Health (HOH).

She is also a member of the SSC at Una Europa One Health. During the visit, faculty members from both universities engaged in discussions about potential collaborations in One Health and Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), as well as the possibility of joint MSc/PhD programs and student exchange initiatives.
