Good health and well-being are essential in order to obtain sustainable development. At the same time, there are many factors, diseases included, that militate against this desired status, but lead to changes in various body components. When these changes are correctly analyzed and interpreted, they provide useful information that lead to disease diagnosis, assessment of disease progression and/or monitor the health status of the animal in question.
This program uses mixed teaching and learning activities majorly, lectures, practical, demonstrations and seminars to provide trained personnel with requisite knowledge and skills to support laboratory diagnosis of livestock diseases, as well as research and training in Clinical Pathology for local, regional and international markets
